This is the homepage of Scott Beaulier. I am the BB&T Distinguished Professor of Capitalism, Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research in Public Policy and Capitalism, and Department Chair of Economics in Mercer University's Stetson School of Business and Economics. Most of my work focuses on Applied Microeconomics, Development Economics, and Political Economy.

Before coming to Mercer University, I completed my Ph.D. work at George Mason University. My undergraduate degree in Economics and History is from Northern Michigan University.
